No subscription is required. All smart monitoring features, including sleep tracking, motion alerts, and vital signs monitoring, are available directly in the Momcozy app with no monthly fees.

How does Momcozy monitor my baby’s vitals without wearables? Is it safe?

Momcozy uses advanced mmWave (millimeter-wave) sensing technology to monitor your baby’s breathing, heart rate, and sleep patterns.
By sending and receiving extremely low-power electromagnetic waves, the monitor detects subtle chest and abdominal movements associated with breathing and heartbeats. This allows for continuous, accurate monitoring without touching your baby or disrupting their sleep.
The technology is non-invasive and safe, with radiation levels significantly lower than standard Wi-Fi signals, making it suitable for everyday home use.

Is my baby's data safe?

Yes. Your family’s privacy is a top priority.
Momcozy protects your data with: AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission; Privacy Mode, allowing you to pause monitoring anytime; Local storage support; Primary and guest account permissions, giving you full control over who can access the monitor.

How do I access my baby’s vitals data and motion alerts in the app?

Once the Wi-Fi baby monitor is paired with the Momcozy app, you can choose which monitoring features you’d like to enable. After monitoring is enabled, the app automatically collects and organizes the data for you.

What data and alerts can the Momcozy app provide?

The Momcozy app can detect and notify you of: Face covering and roll-over risks, real crying sounds, breathing and heart rate changes, and sleep status, including light sleep, deep sleep, and wake-ups. Daily summaries and statistics are generated at 9:00 a.m. the following day.

What is the recommended camera placement for accurate monitoring?

For best results, we recommend using the floor stand and positioning the baby camera monitor beside the crib or bassinet, approximately 1 meter (3.3 ft) above your baby’s chest area. This placement helps ensure more accurate detection of breathing and sleep movements while keeping the camera safely out of reach.
